Increasing the shininess
of a 3-D fill will highlight specific areas of your object and make the object look more
metallic. Decreasing the shininess highlights a more diffuse area and makes the object
look more like plastic. Shininess enhances rounded surfaces more effectively than it does
flat surfaces.
On the workspace or in the object list,
select the 3-D object you want to modify.
On the Effects menu, click 3-D.
At the top of the workpane, click Fill.
In the Shininess box, do one of the following:
To increase the shininess of the fill, enter a higher value.
To decrease the shininess of the fill, enter a lower value.
To apply the effect, press ENTER.
For Help on an option,
press SHIFT+F1, and then click the option.
